It’s all going on

What a year it’s been so far, eh? My 2020 vision is a blurry as everyone else’s, maybe more.

After the Bogarts Festival finished as a great success, I got stuck into some overdue writing work before The Black Summer hit. Our planned holiday up the coast to visit my Dad for his 80th in late December quite literally went up in flames. Dana & I spent many days and nights out fighting fires and it was full on for months.  The coast finally cleared but Dad went down hill fast, so we headed North pronto to see him for a day or so before he died. Funeral #7 for the previous 12 months…

By early March, my writing gigs were going nuts. I had 6 publishers on the go and was shortlisted for a P/T job at the local paper. That all came crashing down during Lockdown v1.0 and I’m now back to 3 publishers, at a much reduced output. However, it has been just enough to eke by and we have been even more frugal than normal at boganvilla. I also had a couple of web jobs stop mid track but managed to pick up some upgrade work elsewhere to balance the shortfall.

On the upside, I entered some photos in the Capture Mono awards and received commendations for them both. Yay me…

Unfortunately, I am having problems loading images, so you’ll have to wait to see them. Boo web-work…

Onwards we forge.
